History
Fairwood Helpers was first instigated by Surrey Community Action Group in 1997 to serve Wood Street Village and Fairlands. The scheme was formally launched in May 1998 following the support of many local Worplesdon groups. in May 2001, the area of operation was extended to include Perry Hill.
Since we started, we have completed more than 10,200 jobs!
Today, Fairwood Helpers is there to help anyone young or old, living in surrounding areas. Our aim has always been to be good neighbours to those who need extra or whose relatives live too far away or are working during the day.
